Accessibility statement

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA for these calculators. This page describes what that means here, what is still limited, and how to reach us.

How to use the calculators

  • A skip link is the first control on each page and moves focus to the main content.
  • Pages work with a keyboard. Buttons, links, and fields show a visible focus outline.
  • Every input has a visible label. Errors are written in text next to the field, not by color alone.
  • Refund and balance-due results are named in words, as well as distinguished by color.
  • The directory announces how many tools match a search.
  • Text can be resized with the browser. Layout reflows on a narrow screen.

Languages

Calculator pages and state guides are in English so the wording stays aligned with IRS and state sources. The calculator directory, this statement, and the privacy policy are also available in Spanish. Use the English and Español links in the header, or open the Spanish directory.

The Spanish directory links to the same English calculators. You can still enter numbers there. Labels on those tools remain English.

Known limits

  • We have not commissioned a third-party accessibility audit.
  • Preview on the directory needs JavaScript. The calculator name is an ordinary link and works without it.
  • Calculating an estimate needs JavaScript. Sources and bracket tables remain readable if JavaScript is off.
  • The PeerPush badge in the directory footer is a third-party image.
  • These pages are planning tools. They are not a substitute for an accessible IRS or state form.

Report a barrier

If a page blocks you, email contact@federalincometaxcalculator.net. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you used. We will reply with a practical alternative when we cannot change the page immediately.
